OASA Bus Crashes into Apartment Building in Papagou

An OASA bus, on line 409, crashed into an apartment building in Papagou on Monday afternoon. According to reports, the bus, while parked in Konitsis Square, began to roll down the sloping road and crashed into an apartment building and a parked vehicle.

The collision caused material damage to the ground floor and 1st floor of the building, as well as to the parked car. A resident of the apartment building reported that the driver claimed to have activated the handbrake, but it was released. The impact was so strong that residents thought there was an earthquake.
