Traffic Regulations in Marathon Due to Torch Relay

Traffic regulations will be in effect in Marathon on Saturday, November 8, due to the torch relay within the framework of the 42nd Authentic Athens Marathon.

Specifically, from 12:00 to 15:30, traffic will be temporarily stopped, and stopping and parking of vehicles will be prohibited on the following road axes:

• Marathonos Avenue, in the section between Feidippidou Street and the starting point of the classical route, traffic flow towards Marathon.
• Agias Paraskevis Street (formerly Marathonomachon), along its entire length and in both traffic directions.

Drivers are requested to avoid passing through the above roads during the specified time period and to follow the instructions of the traffic police.
