Two individuals, a 36-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man, have been transferred to the burn center of Thriasio Hospital after sustaining severe burns in a fire at the EGOI stadium locker rooms in Ammoudara, Heraklion, Crete, on Friday night.

Due to the critical nature of their condition, they were airlifted from PAGNI Heraklion to Thriasio Hospital.

The fire broke out during maintenance work on the premises. The investigative department of the Heraklion Fire Service is conducting a preliminary investigation to determine the exact causes of the fire.
