Crete: 29-year-old German dies after consuming alcohol

A 29-year-old German tourist has died in Crete, with authorities investigating the circumstances of his death.

According to cretapost, the 29-year-old was taken to Rethymno hospital by a friend after losing consciousness. He had consumed a large amount of alcohol and collapsed while walking.

The man died a few hours later in the hospital. An autopsy has been ordered to determine the exact cause of death. Authorities are investigating the case.
