Kozani: Driver Arrested for Driving Against Traffic on Egnatia Odos

A 67-year-old driver was arrested in Kozani after driving against traffic on the Kozani-Ptolemaida section of the Egnatia Odos highway. Other drivers notified the traffic police.

According to reports, the driver was heading to the Bodosakeio Hospital of Ptolemaida, where a relative was undergoing surgery.

The Ptolemaida traffic police arrested the woman, who was later released. A case file was opened for dangerous driving, according to Article 290 of the penal code. The 67-year-old told police officers that she did not realize how she had entered the wrong lane and apologized.
