Schools and Nurseries Closed in Amarynthos Due to Works

Schools and nurseries in Amarynthos will remain closed on Monday, January 26, due to restoration works and a water supply interruption. The decision was made by the Mayor, Nikos Gournis.

According to an announcement by the Municipality of Dionysos, the water cut makes it impossible to use the toilets in school buildings, endangering the health of students.

In addition, the Vrefonipiakos – Paidikos Stathmos Anixis nursery will remain closed for precautionary reasons, due to an inspection of the stream embankment on Niobi Street, following a recent storm.

The Municipality of Dionysos assures that the safety of children and employees is an absolute priority and that there will be immediate updates regarding the reopening of schools.
