Fires in Kozani: Two New Outbreaks

Two new fire fronts have broken out in the Municipality of Kozani, specifically in the areas of Metamorfosi and between Kalamia and Nea Nikopoli.

According to the Fire Department, 27 firefighters with 1 infantry team and 9 vehicles are operating, while a helicopter and municipal water trucks are also assisting.

The fire in Metamorfosi has been brought under control with the help of residents, while the situation in the Nea Nikopoli Kozani area is ongoing.
