Fire in Polythea, Messinia: Kryoneri Evacuated

A fire broke out in a forest area in the Polythea region of Messinia. Due to the fire, a message was sent from 112 for the evacuation of the Kryoneri area.

45 firefighters with a ground team from the 9th EMODE, 15 vehicles, one helicopter, and seven aircraft are operating at the scene. The mobilization of the fire brigade was immediate and strong.
