Patras Fire: Smoke over Panachaiki Stadium

Thick smoke has covered the Agyia area in Patras, above the Panachaiki stadium, as the fire in Sychaina menacingly approaches the city.

The fire, which started in the Agia Paraskevi area of Sychaina, Patras on the evening of Tuesday, 12/08/2025, continues to burn. Aircraft have been involved in the extinguishing efforts since Wednesday morning.

According to local media, the flames are approaching the city. Videos show smoke in the Agyia area, with the Panachaiki stadium in the background.
