Fire in Arcadia: Aerial firefighting operation underway

A fire broke out in agricultural and forest land in the Veligosti area of Arcadia on Wednesday afternoon (25/6). 46 firefighters with 12 vehicles, 2 teams of the 9th EMODE, 4 aircraft and 2 helicopters were mobilized to extinguish it. Water tankers and OTA project machinery are providing assistance.

According to information from the Fire Department, the fire is close to houses, which, however, are not threatened so far.
