Forest Fire in Lagkada, Arta – Extinguishing Operation Underway

A fire broke out in a forest area in Lagkada, Arta, on Saturday afternoon (September 20). Strong firefighting forces have been mobilized in the area.

Specifically, 24 firefighters with 6 vehicles, 2 teams of the 5th EMODE, 2 aircraft, and 1 helicopter are operating to extinguish the fire.

The fire broke out shortly after 12 noon.
