Evia: Policeman Rescues Mother and Daughter at Skourogianni Beach

A 44-year-old policeman, Giorgos Megaritis, rescued a mother and her daughter from drowning in Evia. The incident occurred at Skourogianni beach, when the two women were swept away by strong sea currents.

Giorgos Megaritis, who was on the adjacent beach with his family, heard the calls for help and rushed to assist. Despite the adverse conditions, he managed to reach the mother and daughter and safely bring them to shore.
