Lifeguard Drones: Dropping Life Vests to Swimmers in Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni

Drones in the Municipality of Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni have taken on the role of lifeguard, approaching swimmers in distress at sea and dropping life vests to them.

As stated by the mayor, Grigoris Konstantellos, the drones can carry up to seven life vests. They are also used for detecting fires.
