Poligyros Municipality Honors Volunteer 'Little Gardeners'

The Municipality of Poligyros honored the volunteer groups that participated in the initiative to protect the peri-urban greenery. At an event at the Town Hall, representatives of the 18 groups participating in the action "We adopt and take care of the small park in our neighborhood" exchanged experiences and renewed their commitment to continue their efforts.

The Mayor of Poligyros, Giorgos Emmanouil, congratulated the volunteers for the love and dedication they showed, emphasizing that they are a shining example of active citizens. Commemorative diplomas and plants were given to the teams, and a prize draw was also held.

The Municipality of Poligyros pledged to continue to support actions that cultivate participation and respect for public space.
