Car Falls from Mournion Interchange in Chania – Driver Safe

A car fell from the Mournion interchange in Chania, at the exit towards Rethymno. According to flashnews.gr, the incident occurred when a young Ukrainian driver, driving a rental vehicle, lost control of the car at the interchange exit.

The vehicle fell from a height at the intersection of Sivrisariou and Skamaga streets. Authorities were notified via 112 and rushed to the scene. Fortunately, the driver was not injured in the accident.
