4-year-old child transferred to PAGNI after ingesting petrol

A 4-year-old child was transferred to the University Hospital of Heraklion (PAGNI) after accidentally drinking petrol. The incident occurred in the Chania region, where the child was initially taken to the local hospital with symptoms of dyspnea.

Doctors deemed it necessary to transfer him to PAGNI for precautionary reasons, as the hospital has a Pediatric ICU. According to the child's father, his condition is stable and is being closely monitored by doctors.

The Deputy Governor of the Chania Hospital, Manolis Kallionakis, expressed cautious optimism about the child's health.
