TAXISnet Opens for 2026 Tax Returns - What to Watch Out For

TAXISnet opens its doors on Monday, March 16, for the submission of tax returns for 8.5 million taxpayers. The tax administration has released the new forms (E1, E2, E3) with changes for employees, new taxpayers, and freelancers.

Approximately 1.5 million returns will be pre-filled. If no changes are made, they will be automatically finalized by April 27.

Taxpayers should carefully check their income, donations via the myProperty platform, imputed income, and codes 049/050 for electronic expenses. Verification of dependent family members is also important.

The submission process concludes on July 15. Income tax will be paid in eight monthly installments, with the first due by July 31, 2026, and the last by February 28, 2027. Discounts are available for lump-sum payments by the end of July.
