Stournaras: ECB Interest Rates Appropriately Set

The Governor of the Bank of Greece, Yannis Stournaras, stated that the European Central Bank's (ECB) interest rates are appropriately set at current levels.

In an interview with Econostream, Mr. Stournaras emphasized that it is premature to draw firm conclusions about the future course of interest rates. He also mentioned that the ECB must remain prepared to adjust its interest rates according to the circumstances.

Mr. Stournaras expressed optimism about growth in the Eurozone, highlighting the resilience of the economy and the prospects for further strengthening.
