Pre-Holiday Payments: Christmas Bonus, Allowances, and Refunds

Ahead of the Christmas holidays, many citizens in Greece are expecting a series of payments, including the Christmas Bonus, child and heating allowances, and rent refunds.

Important dates:

• December 19, 2025: Deadline for employers to pay the Christmas Bonus.
• December 23: First installment of the heating allowance expected for approximately 1.3 million beneficiaries. Applications must be completed on the myΘέρμανση platform.
• December 30: Payment deadline for rent refunds submitted by December 12.

Beneficiaries who have not declared their IBAN are urged to do so immediately to receive their payments.

The sixth and final installment of the A21 child allowance for 2025 will also be paid before Christmas. Applications must be finalized and approved.
