Economic Chamber of Greece: Price Cap on Fuel and Food is Appropriate

The Economic Chamber of Greece (OEE) considers the imposition of a price cap on fuel and food prices as the most appropriate measure in the current circumstances, according to a statement by its president, Konstantinos Kollias.
Mr. Kollias emphasized that the government's decision for a three-month price cap aims to protect consumers from profiteering and unfair practices, during a period of geopolitical instability and increased uncertainty. This measure acts as a price control mechanism, ensuring that households and businesses will not face further burdens due to the war crisis.
