New Wave of Property Auctions Coming to Greece

A new wave of property auctions is set to begin in Greece from March and will last until June 3, 2026. According to reports, approximately 40 properties of various categories will be auctioned through the e-auction platform.

The list of properties includes apartments, land plots, agricultural plots, commercial spaces, industrial buildings, warehouses, and parking spaces. Starting prices range from €7,000 to €3.5 million.

Examples include:

• Land plot with industrial installation in Viotia (€3.5 million)
• Land plot in Nea Ionia (€2.5 million)
• Apartment in Kifissia (€396,000)
• Apartment in Agia Paraskevi (€247,000)

Overdue debts to the State exceed €112.5 billion, affecting more than 2.3 million taxpayers.

Auctions are the last resort for collecting overdue debts, with the AADE proceeding with seizures and auctions of properties after notifying debtors.
