New Flights and Destinations at Athens Airport in 2026

Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos is set to expand its operations in 2026 with the addition of four new airlines and eight new destinations. A particular focus is placed on strengthening connections with the Indian market, marking a significant expansion to the East.

In 2025, the airport recorded a record of 34 million passengers, marking an increase of 6.7%. At the peak of the season, 166 destinations were served by 70 airlines.
