Mitsotakis: Patras-Pyrgos Highway to Open Soon

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced that 65 out of 75 kilometers of the Patras-Pyrgos highway will soon be open to traffic. In statements to Max FM radio station in Patras, the Prime Minister emphasized that the completion of the project was his personal commitment since 2019.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis referred to the delay of the project in the past and expressed hope that the last section will be ready by the day of Saint Andrew. He also mentioned the importance of road safety and the need for water resource management.

Regarding the Marina in Patras, the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of private sector involvement for the upgrading of infrastructure, while also referring to programs to support young families and the demographic problem.
