Mitsotakis: 'Fighting Inflation is Top Priority'

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis stated that fighting inflation is the government's top priority, following price reductions on over 2,000 products in supermarkets.

In a video posted on social media, Mr. Mitsotakis acknowledged that inflation is the most significant problem facing Greek households. He also emphasized that the government is constantly trying to support the disposable income of households.

The price reduction, which started today, is the result of an initiative by the Ministry of Development in collaboration with supermarkets and suppliers.
