Mitsotakis Announces Tax Cuts at Thessaloniki International Fair

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced significant tax reforms at the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF), emphasizing permanent, across-the-board measures.

The reforms include a 2-percentage-point reduction in tax rates, additional reductions for each child, and zero tax for incomes up to 20,000 euros for families with many children.

Additionally, zero tax was announced for workers up to 25 years old with incomes up to 20,000 euros, a new payroll for the Armed Forces, Security Forces and the Diplomatic Corps, as well as a lower VAT rate on remote islands with fewer than 20,000 residents.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis also referred to the establishment of the National High School Diploma, the completion of the new National Health System, the National Energy Map and the integration of urban planning into Ktimatologio A.E.

In the afternoon, Kyriakos Mitsotakis will give a press conference.
