Share on:

Principia, a subsidiary of Australian Macquarie and Italian Enel, is acquiring a 150 MW wind farm portfolio from Portuguese EDP Renewables. The deal, worth over €200 million, significantly strengthens Principia's presence in the Greek RES market.

The portfolio includes the «Livadi» (45 MW) wind farm in Malesina, Fthiotida, «Erimia» (35 MW) in the same area, «Xironomi» (36 MW) in Boeotia, and «Chalkodonio» (33.6 MW) in Magnesia. This move is part of EDP's divestment strategy from Greece.

The tender also included Terna Energy, ENI Plenitude, Helleniq Energy, and investment funds.
