€45 Million Hotel Deal in Athens

The first hotel deal of 2026 took place in Athens, with the acquisition of the Hilton Garden Inn Athens property on Syngrou Avenue by the Cretan Investment Group (CIG), valued at €45 million.

The acquisition was signed last Monday. CIG, the investment arm of MK Hotel Collection led by Marita Karatzi, is entering the hotel market of the capital through a sale & leaseback agreement with Nova Construction, which inaugurated the hotel last spring.
