Electronic Registry of Elevators Starts Across Greece

The electronic registry of elevators is starting across Greece. According to a relevant ministerial decision, the new digital platform of the Elevator Registry, at https://elevator.mindev.gov.gr, is expected to be launched.

Within four months, by the end of November 2025, all elevators in the country must be registered electronically by owners, managers, or authorized technicians. The registration is mandatory for all elevators, regardless of age or technical condition.

Those responsible for registration are the property owners, building managers, their legal representatives, or the responsible maintenance or installation technicians of the elevator, upon authorization. Access to the platform is via Taxisnet codes.

For each elevator, the name of the owner or manager, the address, the number of stops, the year of installation, and the details of the responsible maintenance technician or installer must be registered. Upon completion, each elevator obtains a Unique Elevator Code (UUID).
