Green Taxi Subsidies: Payments to 108 Beneficiaries

Today, December 30, 2025, subsidies totaling €2,062,219.15 are being credited to the accounts of 108 beneficiaries of the "Green Taxi" program.

In total, since the program's inception, €3,256,297.43 has been disbursed for 158 electric taxis.

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport plans to restart the program in early 2026, focusing on vehicle replacements in the Attica Region and the Thessaloniki Regional Unit.

Beneficiaries have the option to assign the collection claim to the vehicle supplier.

Furthermore, through legislative regulation, O.A.S.A. and O.S.E.TH. will be able to conduct concession tenders for the installation of charging infrastructure at taxi waiting areas, exclusively for electric taxis.

According to the ministry, 101 zero-emission electric taxis have been provided.
