Construction Restart Following Amendments to Building Regulations

Construction activity in Greece is entering a restart phase after a months-long slowdown, prompted by the new legislative regulation of the Ministry of Environment and Energy and the amendments to the New Building Code (NOK).

The changes aim to limit excessive bonuses and protect those who have already issued building permits. According to newmoney.gr, bulldozers have already started work in the southern suburbs of Athens.
