Summer Sales to Begin on July 14

Summer sales at commercial stores throughout Greece are expected to begin on July 14 and will last until August 31.

Stores have the option to remain open on the first Sunday of the sales, July 20, with a suggested operating hours from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. However, these hours may vary depending on the region and the policy of each store.

Shopkeepers are required to clearly indicate the original and the new, reduced price of their products. In addition, stores must inform customers about the sales with prominent signs.

Consumers are advised to be careful with their purchases, checking the terms for installment purchases and return policies. Proof of purchase is necessary in case of a defective product.
