Greek Banks: €3 Billion Dividends Expected in 2025

Greek systemic banks are expected to distribute dividends of €3 billion in 2025, following the Italian dividend distribution model. This marks a significant increase from €1 billion in 2023 and €2 billion in 2024.

With profits projected to exceed €5 billion for 2025, the banks are in discussions with the SSM for final approval of the distributions. Dividend distributions are expected to range from 70% to 90% of profits, similar to Italian banks.
