Greece: ATM withdrawal fees completely abolished

In Greece, a new regulation from the Ministry of National Economy and Finance, effective today, abolishes all fees for cash withdrawals from Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) of Greek banks.
Additionally, a national maximum fee of 1.5 euros is established for withdrawals made from ATMs of third-party providers. An exception is made for municipal communities where only one ATM operates, where no fee is charged, regardless of the customer's bank.
