Greece: Farmers Exchange New Year's Greetings at Roadblocks

In Greece, farmers spent New Year's Eve at roadblocks, an unprecedented move in their mobilizations, while keeping the road network open.

Awaiting crucial decisions at the nationwide meeting on Sunday in Malgara, the farmers at the Thessaloniki Green Light roadblock expressed their firm intention to dialogue with the government.

The farmers emphasize that meetings are continuing in order to shape the agenda for dialogue. In Western Macedonia, with a temperature of -12 degrees Celsius, farmers celebrated with their families and friends, while traffic is running normally.
