EXAAA: Hotel Occupancy in Athens Falls in July

Hotel occupancy in Athens decreased in July, reaching 83.3%, according to EXAAA data. Despite the drop, the seven-month period remains positive.
Specifically, average occupancy in July decreased by 3.6% compared to last year, and by 5.7% compared to 2023. The average daily rate (ADR) increased marginally to €207.85, while revenue per available room (RevPar) decreased by 2.5% to €173.19.
The overall picture for the seven-month period remains positive, with average occupancy at 75.8% (+0.4%), ADR at €176.18 (+1.6%), and RevPar at €133.49 (+2%). 3-star hotels are under particular pressure, with a continuous decrease in occupancy since March.
