Greece: 5.3% Increase in International Air Arrivals, Cyclades See Decline

Greece recorded a 5.3% increase in international air arrivals in the first seven months of 2025, reaching 15.2 million. According to data from the Institute of the Hellenic Tourist Confederation (INSETE), this represents an increase of 769,000 travelers compared to 2024.
In July alone, arrivals reached 4.9 million, a 4.6% increase compared to July 2024.
Crete recorded the most arrivals (3 million), followed by the Dodecanese (2.4 million) and the Ionian Islands (2.2 million). The Peloponnese saw a significant increase of 9.6%.
The Cyclades were the only geographical area with a decrease, recording 638,000 arrivals, down 7.4% compared to 2024.
