AAΔΕ: Record Number of Tax Returns Filed in 2024

Over 7 million tax returns were filed on time for the 2024 tax year, according to AAΔΕ. New records were set for submissions from both individuals and legal entities.

In total, 6,706,091 income tax returns were filed by individuals, an increase of 162,238 compared to 2024. These returns correspond to 8,914,700 individuals.

Of these, 1,323,294 returns were pre-filled, with 739,576 being submitted automatically.

Timely filings by legal entities amounted to 362,682, an increase of almost 25,000 compared to the 337,718 in 2024. For the first time, legal entities were given 130 days to file, compared to 101 days last year.

Only 2,603 individuals expressed their intention to challenge the imputed income, out of the 381,276 taxed under this method.
