AAΔΕ: Notices for 450,000 Drivers with Violations – Fines Imposed

AAΔΕ is expected to send notices to 450,000 drivers with outstanding issues, such as uninsured vehicles, overdue vehicle inspections (KTEO), and unpaid road taxes.

According to available data, the following have been identified:

350,000 owners with violations
150,000 without KTEO
90,000 with unpaid road taxes

Tax expert Sandra Gerangelou stated that data cross-checks have been carried out by private and public entities.

Drivers will have a three-month deadline to comply, otherwise they will face fines:

€250 - €1,000 for uninsured vehicles
€400 for failure to pass KTEO
Double the road tax amount

After the deadline, a new inspection will be conducted, and fines will be imposed on those who have not complied.
