TO BHMA: Volume 2 on Greece in the 1980s

On Sunday, October 12th, the newspaper TO BHMA will be released with the second volume of the book "Greece in the 1980s: Social, Political and Cultural Lexicon."
The work examines Greek society in the 1980s, a period that continues to influence modern Greece. Sociologists Panagis Panagiotopoulos and Vasilis Vamvakás, the editors of the publication, attempt to answer questions about the character of the decade, its protagonists, and its influence on the present day.
The book includes 264 entries, 770 documents (photos, advertisements, texts) and the contribution of 150 lexicographers, outlining a multifaceted picture of the 1980s. It covers topics such as the 1985 elections, social divisions, male identities and the music scene.
Vasilis Vamvakás notes that the lexicon is aimed at those interested in the modern history of Greece and wish to understand the present, without idealizations.
Don't miss the second volume, only with TO BHMA, on Sunday, October 12th.
