«Faust» Returns Renewed to the National Theatre of Greece

The performance «Faust», based on Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's work and directed by Aris Biniaris, returns for a second year to the Central Stage of the National Theatre.
Haris Frangoulis takes on the central role, while Andreas Kontopoulos will play Mephistopheles. The cast also includes actors Katerina Abliantiti, Babis Galiatsatos, Elektra Kartanou, Irini Katsinoula, Nadia Katsoura, Marios Kritikopoulos, Maria Manta, Ioanna Mavrea, Vasilis Papadopoulos, Stefanos Pittas, Konstantina Takalou, Irini Tsellou, and Alexandra Hassani.
The performance explores aspects of human exploration, ethical dilemmas, and existential deadlocks, bringing the story of Faust to the present day. Faust comes into contact with the psychotherapeutic process, in a descent into his subconscious.
Aris Biniaris presents a performance about the conflict between body and spirit, the human effort to find meaning in existence and redemption.
