New Multi-Purpose Pavilion at Ancient Epidaurus

A new multi-purpose pavilion will be constructed at the archaeological site of Ancient Epidaurus to support the activities of the Athens Epidaurus Festival. The project, named Pavilion, is designed by Flux Office.
The Pavilion will be located next to the exhibition area and will serve as a meeting and creation point, designed with respect for the cultural and natural environment of the area.
Deputy Minister of Culture Iason Fotilas emphasized the importance of the project for supporting the Festival, while Festival President Dimitris Passas expressed his delight at the project's implementation. Artistic Director Katerina Evangelatou mentioned that the pavilion will offer greater opportunities for staff and artists.
Architects Eva Manidaki and Thanasis Demiris stated that the architecture of Aris Konstantinidis inspired the project. The Pavilion consists of two volumes with an atrium, offering spaces for events and offices.
Sofia Dimtsa, General Manager of Corporate Relations & Communication of DEH Group, highlighted DEH's long-standing support for culture and the importance of the collaboration with the Festival.
