G. Papasaikas Painting Exhibition in Andros

A painting exhibition by Giorgos Papasaikas titled "A Glimpse of Andros" will be held at the Museum of Folklore and Christian Art of Andros. The opening will take place on Saturday, August 9th at 20:00, and the exhibition will last until August 31st.

G. Papasaikas, inspired by the island of Andros, presents paintings aiming to narrate his encounter with the island's landscape. The inspiration came from his visit to Andros, assisting his father, sculptor Vasilis Papasaikas, in the placement of the statue "The Woman of the Sailor".

The works are created using the technique of wax tempera.

The exhibition will be open daily from 19:00–21:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays, it will also be open in the morning from 11:00–13:00.
