International Conference on Criminal Law in Athens

An international conference on "The New Image of Criminal Law" will be held in Athens on December 12 and 13, 2025, as part of the celebrations for the 10th anniversary of the Institute of European and International Criminal Law.

The conference will be hosted at the Ceremonial Hall of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Argyriadis Amphitheater.

Distinguished legal experts and academics, including Prokopios Pavlopoulos, Charalambos Vourliotis, and Christos Mylonopoulos, will participate in the conference. Topics such as new ways of thinking in criminal law, European criminal law, criminal law and new technologies, and asset forfeiture will be discussed.

The Institute of European and International Criminal Law was founded in 2015 and aims to produce and disseminate knowledge on criminal law issues.
