Chalandri: 37-year-old found dead in Charos Gorge in Grammos

A 37-year-old man from Chalandri was found dead in the Charos Gorge in Grammos, near Nestorio, Kastoria.

The man had disappeared from Chalandri on August 26, 2025, when he left for work in his car, a brown TOYOTA with registration number ΒΚΤ 9606, and did not return. His family reported his disappearance, and the Silver Alert was activated.

The 37-year-old's car was found by police, who discovered that the man had fallen into a 200-meter deep ravine. An operation was set up by EMAK to retrieve him.

Police sources report that all the evidence points to suicide. The exact causes of death will be determined by the autopsy.
