Haïdari: Critical Condition for 13-Year-Old After Fall from School Balcony

A 13-year-old student is fighting for her life at «Agia Sofia» Children's Hospital after falling from a balcony at the 7th Haïdari Gymnasium. Doctors performed a lengthy surgery to address her serious injuries.

The student sustained cranioencephalic and thoracic injuries. Following surgery, she remains intubated in the ICU, and her condition is described as extremely critical.

According to reports, the 13-year-old reportedly felt dizzy and slipped from the balcony. An ambulance from ΕΚΑΒ rushed to the scene, and psychologists are at the school to support the students.

The Minister of Education, Sofia Zacharaki, visited the hospital to be informed about the student's condition, while the Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, had telephone communication with the family.
