Volos: 61-Year-Old Arrested for Killing Dog Outside Kennel

A 61-year-old hunter was arrested in Volos on Tuesday, August 12, accused of killing a dog outside the Municipal Kennel.

According to gegonotanews.gr, the perpetrator killed the animal with a hunting rifle using single-projectile cartridges. He was identified through the kennel's security cameras.

The representative of the Volos animal welfare association, Chrysa Koskina, stated that the perpetrator "went up to the Volos municipal kennel and with a carbine executed at close range the poor stray dog that ran to greet him."
