Volos: 40-Year-Old Arrested for Wife's Murder – Showed No Remorse

A 40-year-old man has been arrested in Volos for the murder of his 36-year-old wife. The perpetrator was apprehended on Sunday and reportedly showed no remorse.

According to gegonota.news, the 40-year-old allegedly told authorities that his wife was cheating on him. He was found on Evripidou Street, near the crime scene, hiding in a plot of land and wearing clothes from a garbage bin.

The 36-year-old woman was murdered on Friday in front of her children. The victim's 18-year-old daughter called the police, reporting that her father had attacked her mother. The woman died while being transported to the hospital.

The autopsy of the body will be carried out on Monday at the Forensic Medicine Department of Thessaloniki.

Witnesses reported that the couple had a heated argument before the murder. According to reports, the 40-year-old attacked the 36-year-old with a sharp object.
