Volos: 43-year-old tried to abduct 12-year-old students

Two 12-year-old students in Volos were terrified when a 43-year-old man tried to abduct them in the Agioi Anargyroi area. According to thenewspaper.gr, the incident occurred while the children were returning from school.

The mother of one of the boys reported that the perpetrator, a homeless man with a heavy criminal record and alleged psychological problems, jumped out of an alley and tried to pull one child. He then tried to attack her son as well. The children started screaming, and the perpetrator fled.

The mother also reported that the police did not respond immediately to her complaint. The 43-year-old was located and arrested on Kalmakiou Street.

The authorities are investigating the incident.
