A 24-year-old woman is hospitalized in critical condition in Veria, after being the victim of a brutal beating. Police are investigating her mobile phone and video footage to identify the perpetrators.

According to EL.AS. spokesperson Konstantia Dimoglidou, authorities are examining the possibility that the 24-year-old's mobile phone contains information that will lead to the perpetrators. Her personal belongings and money were found in her possession, ruling out robbery as a motive.

At the same time, police are collecting testimonies and analyzing video footage from the area, despite difficulties due to low lighting.

The young woman is being treated at Papageorgiou Hospital, fighting for her life.
