Vasilis Bismbikis: Car Accident in Filothei and Unanswered Questions

Actor Vasilis Bismbikis was involved in a car accident in Filothei in the early hours of Saturday (September 27, 2025), causing damage to parked cars.

According to reports, Bismbikis, driving a pickup truck, hit three cars and a garage door, and then left the scene. Later, the vehicle was found at the intersection of Karaoli and Dimitriou and Akrita streets.

The actor himself, in statements to MEGA, said that he did not leave the scene and that he informed his insurance company and the Filothei police station through his associate. He also claimed that he had not consumed alcohol and that the accident was caused by a loss of control of the vehicle.

However, there are unanswered questions about the incident. One of them concerns two women who opened the door of Bismbikis' house to the police, stating that they were his daughters, while the actor only has one son. In addition, the police are investigating whether there was indeed communication with the police station, as the actor claims.

According to reports, the vehicle Bismbikis was driving belongs to a leasing company and did not have a rear license plate. Residents of the area claim that this is not the first time the actor has caused damage to parked vehicles.

The police are continuing their investigation into the case.
